No model or provider configured
The composer shows a prompt to configure a provider. Open Settings > API Providers and add a key, then select a model from the model selector.Provider key issues
- Key not saved — Make sure you clicked Save after entering your key.
- Key deleted — Re-enter and save the key.
- Models not synced — After saving a key, models sync automatically. Use the refresh button in the model selector to trigger a manual sync.
Vision not working
Not all models support vision. If you attach an image or use/vision and get an error, try switching to a model that supports vision inputs.
File upload fails
- Check that the file is under 20 MB.
- Make sure the file type is supported (txt, md, json, csv, pdf, png, jpg, and others listed in Add context).
- If the file is too large or unsupported, the extension shows a message explaining the issue.
Microphone not working
- The extension needs microphone permission to use voice input. If the permission prompt was denied, update your Chrome site permissions for the extension.
- Browser speech recognition must be available in your browser.
Locked features
Some features require Pro access. Ensure that you purchase a Pro license key, and redeem it through the account access flow. See Plans and access for details.Session expired
If you’re asked to sign in again, your session has expired. Sign in with your account to restore access.Browser page unavailable
The assistant may not be able to access certain Chrome system pages (likechrome:// URLs) or pages where the extension doesn’t have tab access. Try navigating to a standard web page.
