Some forged skills require a secret or external credential to work. Tool Pairing lets you connect those credentials without putting them directly into the skill.

When you need Tool Pairing

When a custom skill requires a secret, it produces a connectivity key. You enter the corresponding credential in Settings > Tool Pairing.

Add a credential

  1. Open Settings > Tool Pairing.
  2. Find the connectivity key for your forged skill.
  3. Enter the secret or API key the skill needs to run.
Once paired, the skill uses the credential when the assistant calls it.

Remove a credential

Open Settings > Tool Pairing and delete the paired entry. The skill will stop working if it requires that credential.
